PPC’s AV clients needed localized posters, digital ads, and print assets too. Hyper Brew built a custom Photoshop automation that made high-volume static localization practical to deliver and sell.

As growing demands increasingly require shorter timelines and lower cost in the entertainment industry, we’re actively looking for workflow efficiencies through automations.
Our explorations into AV automation were successful, however our clients requested we expand these services into our static workflows as well to be a one-stop-shop for our clients across AV, print, and digital.
Working with companies like Hyper Brew is helping to identify where automation fits in our workflows. I highly recommend anyone in this space to spend time in the R&D phase to identify key areas of your workflow that can benefit from automation time and cost savings.
This project allowed us to offer an entirely new service line to our clients, static localisation at scale, from which we expect to see an increase in demand for these services.
Justin and the team at Hyper Brew have been an amazing support to our team with an approach that is highly collaborative, organized, and thorough.
Picture Production Company (PPC) already automated their AV localization services for global campaigns. Then clients started asking for the static pieces too: movie posters, digital ads, and print assets adapted for dozens of markets and languages.
PPC needed a way to deliver that work at scale without making every campaign a massive manual-production job.
A single global campaign can create hundreds of localized static assets. If every language, format, and market needs individual production effort, the service is hard to price, hard to schedule, and hard to scale.
PPC had a proven demand. What it needed was a reliable delivery model.
Hyper Brew built a custom Photoshop Document Generator that connects to PPC’s existing automation database. When a job arrives, the system opens the prepared source file, updates copy and imagery for the target market, and exports finished files into PPC’s delivery workflow.
This was not a generic plugin. It had to fit PPC’s AV automation, source-file setup, output standards, and client-quality expectations so PPC could sell and deliver the service with confidence.
Once source files are prepared, a localization version that could take 20 minutes manually can be generated in about 10 seconds. For a project with 900 versions, that changes delivery from weeks of production work to days.
| Without a scalable workflow | With Hyper Brew’s custom automation |
| Static localization is difficult to offer at volume | PPC can make static localization a repeatable service |
| More markets mean more production effort | Prepared files generate localized output automatically |
| 20 minutes per version | 10 seconds per version |
| Hundreds of versions risk long delivery cycles | 900 versions can move from weeks to days |
1. Set up once. A designer takes one master Photoshop document and maps its text and image layers to PPC’s database. Takes about 2-3 hours per campaign.
2. Generate. The tool builds all 900 versions at about 10 seconds each. That’s roughly 2.5 hours, and nobody has to watch it.
3. QC Outliers. PSD files are exported for each version so reviewers can make any one-off adjustments as needed.
Hyper Brew did more than automate a Photoshop task. The build gave PPC the operational foundation to offer coordinated AV, static, and print localization as part of the same global campaign.
Clients get a more complete service from one partner. And PPC can pursue opportunities based on demand and strategic fit, not on whether the team can absorb manual production work.

When demands increase, the common response is to increase your production capability, but this is typically only a short-term solution.
I would recommend engaging with a company like Hyper Brew to find what automation solutions can solve your team’s workflow limitations long-term.
The Photoshop automatic workflow that Hyper Brew has built for us allows us to provide highly efficient and cost effective localisation services for our clients across all static media, increasing the speed of production and delivering volume.
Now we’re able to deliver more competitively, deliver faster, and with lower resource overhead.
Let’s map the gap and see whether custom software can turn it into a service you can confidently sell.
